A substitute for an old, suburban village in Galeria Bronowice

As part of the ongoing Year of Włodzimierz Tetmajer and the neighborly cooperation with Rydlówka, a branch of the Museum of Krakow, a unique exhibition was created in the Bronowice Gallery, showing the area of the historic manor house where the wedding of the poet Lucjan Rydel and Jadwiga Mikołajczykówna took place.
The exhibition is a substitute for an old, suburban village. Visitors can admire here e.g. wooden fence, hollyhocks or a perfectly reproduced miniature Rydlówka. Volunteers can also look inside the beautifully painted dowry chest. According to tradition, it was given to the bride on her wedding day. The chest contained her dowry – that is, everything she took with her to her husband's house.
The arrangement will decorate Galeria Bronowice until autumn. It is available in the event zone, on level 0.
