A YOUNG ARTIST'S PRIMER with Jan Matejko

We present children's works that were created as part of the annual cycle of Izabela Biela's original workshops, The Young Artist's Primer and The Young Artist's Primer with JAN MATEJKA.
During the first semester, we built a creative workshop by exploring artistic means of expression such as LINE, COLOR, FORM, PERSPECTIVE, LIGHT and COMPOSITION. The second semester was devoted to the work of Jan Matejko, the patron of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Following in the footsteps of the artistic means learned in the first semester, through LINE, COLOUR, FORM, PERSPECTIVE AND LIGHT, we got to know the painting and drawing skills of Master Jan Matejko. Classes in the form of great fun and practical artistic exercises were weaved on the basis of historical and biographical themes of the artist.
