In 1920, Hjalmar Blomkvist took the first step in creating DUKA history. His glass, porcelain, and kitchenware store in Linköping, Sweden, was a success. He began opening more showrooms in other Swedish cities. When it came time to retire, he sold his thriving company. In 1962, Hjalmar Blomkvist's former company merged with 16 other glass and porcelain stores to create the DUKA chain.

A hundred years have passed, and our offer still includes products designed at that time. Today, DUKA is a prestigious brand with an excellent assortment and professional service, opening new stores throughout Europe every year. We have been present in the Polish market since 1999 and currently have over 61 brick-and-mortar stores and an online store at duka.com.
