The Autumn Edition of the Neighborhood Exchange

The start of autumn is a great time to declutter your wardrobe and get your home ready for the new season. It is also a perfect opportunity to check whether everything in your closet, bookcase, or basement is truly essential—and to let items you no longer use find new owners! Join us on October 9 and 10 at Galeria Bronowice for the next edition of our Neighborhood Swap. It’s a chance to exchange clothes, books, toys, plants, and small gadgets, as well as to support charitable causes and have your footwear refurbished.

Swap Zone

Bring along items you no longer need and swap them for something new for yourself. You can bring clothes, handbags, pairs of shoes, toys, books, plants, or small gadgets. The swap operates on a 1:1 basis, so the more you bring, the more treasures you can find. Please ensure that all items are clean and in good condition, and that books were published no earlier than 2010.
Important – all items submitted will be inspected by event staff.

We do not accept:
– items with stains, holes, pilling, or other signs of wear,
– damaged, stretched, or misshapen clothing,
– incomplete items (e.g., single shoes),
– footwear in poor condition or heavily worn,
– accessories that are damaged or missing parts,
– items with an unpleasant odor.

If you do not have items to swap but still wish to participate, you can do so by purchasing one of the needed products from the list for the animals under the care of the Krakow Society for the Care of Animals (KTOZ).

If you have surplus clothing but do not wish to participate in the exchange, you can donate the items to charity or social causes. Additionally, those who bring 10 kg of clothing or textiles meeting the criteria will be eligible to receive a PLN 50 gift card to use at Galeria Bronowice stores.

Want to refurbish worn-out footwear? On October 10—the second day of the Neighborhood Exchange—make a purchase of at least PLN 50 at Galeria Bronowice stores (on a single receipt) and, between the hours of... From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, take advantage of a free shoe care service provided by the Kraków-based company ShoeShine.
Services available: exterior shoe cleaning, sole side cleaning, shoelace replacement, and minor touch-ups (toes, scuffed areas).

"Refresh Zone" (Strefa Odnawiamy) Rules

"Show Your Style!" Contest

The Neighborhood Swap event is accompanied by a contest on the Galeria Bronowice Facebook page. Participants are invited to share a unique outfit created from second-hand clothing in the comments section of the contest post. The contest runs from September 28 to October 7. We will select the 3 most interesting outfits to win a 50 PLN gift card valid at Galeria Bronowice stores. Prizes can be collected on October 9–10 at the Swap Point.
