Holiday workshops for families from Rydlówka

Holidays are the perfect time to develop passions and discover talents. Check it out for yourself at Galeria Bronowice! In July and August, our shopping center will be a vibrant cultural scene. As part of summer activities with our partner - Rydlówka, a branch of the Krakow Museum, we will conduct a series of creative and educational workshops for families, and we will give away prizes for participation. The first free classes are on Friday, July 11.
Unconventional cooperation can bring surprising results, as confirmed by projects implemented with Rydlówka. Together we prove that neighborhood initiatives make sense, and the shopping center is an excellent space for building local culture and creative experiences. Participants in our holiday workshops, prepared with families in mind, will also see this.
The classes are free. They will take place in the newly opened play space - Creative Planeta (level +1, opposite the Smyk brand).
Children who take part in at least 3 out of 4 workshops and collect stamps will receive gifts.

Date: 11.07 (Friday)
Tour I 10:00-11:00 (limited to 40 people)
Tour II 11:00-12:00 (limited to 40 people)
Location: Creative Planeta
Description: Participants will learn the basics of macrame. They will receive an outline of basic macramé weaves and make their own keychain – a feather, which they will then dye. The classes will be accompanied by a story about the macramé technique and ways of dyeing strings.
2. Workshops entitled "Krakow Chochoły"
Date: 18.07 (Friday)

II Round 10:30-11:00 (limited to 20 people)
III Round 11:00-11:30 (limited to 20 people)
IV Round 11.30-12.00 (limited to 20 people)
Location: Creative Planeta
Description: Participants will create straw moats using eco-straw, hay, materials with folk Krakow patterns, ribbons in traditional colors and natural decorations. The classes will be accompanied by stories about Stanisław Wyspiański, "The Wedding" and traditional Krakow costumes.
3. Workshops on creating flowers from tissue paper
Date: 25.07 (Friday)
10.00-12.00 – possibility to join at any time
Location: Creative Planeta
Description: Participants will create traditional flowers from tissue paper. The classes will be accompanied by a story about the customs associated with decorating paintings and houses with them, and placing them in palm trees.
4. Workshops on "printing" with plants
Date: 29.08 (Friday)
10.00-12.00 – possibility to join at any time
Location: Creative Planeta
Description: Participants will learn the monotype technique, i.e. printing single, artistic copies. The matrix in the print will be a freshly picked plant. Using a roller press, oil paint and cotton paper, they will create unique works of art that can serve as an artistic cover for a notebook or textbook.
