The fourth edition of "Good Antiquarian Bookstore"

Date of event: 19.09.2025 - 20.09.2025

On September 19-20, 2025 (Friday-Saturday), volunteers from the Anna Dymna Foundation "Against the Odds" are organizing the fourth "Good Antiquarian Bookstore" at Galeria Bronowice. Items will include fiction, poetry, children's literature, and even cookbooks and foreign-language books – for both adults and children. Also available will be poetry collections published as part of the National Poetry Competition "Słowa, że jesteś" (Words, It's Good That You Are) – which include award-winning poems, along with works recognized in the literary competition for physicians "Przychodzi Inwa do Lekarz" (Inspiration Comes to the Doctor).

The concept of the "Good Antiquarian Bookstore" is to give used books a "second life" while also helping those in our care. Those who would like to support our activities with a donation of any kind will be able to choose a book from the shelves of the antiquarian bookstore.

The funds collected will be used to support the operation of the "Dolina Słońca" therapeutic and rehabilitation center for people with intellectual disabilities in Radwanowice near Krakow, and to finance the operation and expansion of the "Spotkajmy się" respite center at the Occupational Therapy Workshop in Lubiatów on the Baltic Sea.

The "Dobry Antykwariat" will be open on Friday, September 19, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, September 20, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The stand will be located on the ground floor of Galeria Bronowice, in the "Pod ringiem" zone.

Donations during the campaign can be made in two ways: cash – as part of public collection no. 2025/3372/OR, and cashless – via Donateo donation machines.

The Anna Dymna Foundation "Against the Odds" provides assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities, who are most at risk of social exclusion. It has built and operates three centers: the "Dolina Słońca" therapeutic and rehabilitation center in Radwanowice, near Krakow, and the "Spotkajmy się" Occupational Therapy Workshop and respite center – located in Lubiatów on the Baltic Sea.

The Foundation also supports the treatment, rehabilitation, and education of people with illnesses and disabilities. It implements numerous projects aimed at removing mental barriers in society, such as the Enchanted Song Festival and the "Albertiana" National Festival of Theatre and Music for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
