What don't we know about medicinal plants? What is the role of frogs in the ecosystem? What do physics and karate have in common? What is the P-One experiment? You will be able to learn these and many other intriguing facts on April 26 at Galeria Bronowice. Together with us and the event partners, you will discover the amazing world of science and nature. During the family Saturday, there will be lectures, creative workshops, demonstration stands and competitions with prizes. There will also be an animal adoption zone and free dog chipping.

Together with our wonderful Neighbors and a group of experts, we invite you to an event that will reveal to you the magic of the animal kingdom and the secrets of the universe. Together we will go on a fascinating journey that will not only satisfy your curiosity, but also provide a lot of inspiration, knowledge and amazing experiences.

3 ZONES

On Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 12:00-17:00 there will be 3 zones waiting for you. Representatives of the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAN will present elements of the P-ONE experiment (Pacific Ocean Neutrino Experiment). At the IFJ PAN stand there will be available, among other things, a telescope for observing cosmic neutrino sources from the depths of the ocean.

In turn, the Friends of the Petrus Horse Foundation will launch a charity stand, where a collection for the shelter will be held.

The third point will be the animal adoption zone and free dog chipping.


LECTURES

The lectures will begin with the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences with a presentation entitled"What should people know about animals?". Listeners will learn more about animal behavior, their learning processes and experiential nature.

Then, zoologist and ecologist Robert Gatzka will appear on stage to talk about "The Lords of the Carpathians - Bears".

The speakers will also include the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences with lectures and a show entitled "Physics Recorded in Martial Arts as Exemplified by Kyokushin Karate" and"On Causality in Physics and More...", thanks to which participants will discover what physics and karate have in common.

During the first part of the presentation by the Friends of the Petrus Horse Foundation, participants will learn details regarding animal adoption. In the second part, they will learn more about amphibians, including the role of frogs in the ecosystem and what protective activities are carried out in the Wielka Wieś commune and in Krakow.

There will also be lectures on spiders, the exhibition of which will be hosted in our shopping center until May 5. The authors of the presentation will be the organizers of the Spider Exhibition.

In the breaks between the lectures, competitions with prizes

will be organized.


WORKSHOPS

Traditionally, during family events in Galeria Bronowice, there must be workshops for children and parents. 4

From 12:00 to 13:00 we invite you to a meeting with the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences for workshops entitled "What we know and what we don't know about medicinal plants".

From 13:00 to 14:00 the Friends of the Petrus Horse Foundation will lead creative drawing classes. The children's works will be presented on a special board.

Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Robert Gatzka will show examples of the work of a "field surveyor" and will present methods of monitoring fauna. Then at 3:20 p.m., 50-minute family workshops will begin on creating frogs, accompanied by educational games and skill challenges.

In turn, between 4:20 and 5:00 p.m. in the workshop zone you will meet the organizers of the Spider Exhibition, thanks to which participants will learn interesting facts about arachnids.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 12:00 to 17:00. Participation is free of charge.
