The Carol Parade starts at Galeria Bronowice

On Saturday, December 28, Krakow will resound with an extremely cheerful and colorful Carol Parade. The event will be inaugurated by creative family workshops and joint singing of carols with Anna Sitko and carol singers in Galeria Bronowice. Then, a gathering is planned at Rydlówka, from where the singing procession together with the Złoty Róg Theater will set off to the Main Square.
Dancing, singing, colorful characters and fun uniting generations. This is a brief summary of one of the most colorful local initiatives of this year. The Carol Parade will start on Saturday, December 28, and will be organized by our neighbor and partner in non-commercial activities - the Museum of Krakow, Rydlówka Branch. The event will be inaugurated at 11:00 a.m. by free family workshops in our shopping center. During the classes, you will have the opportunity to create your own mini carol stars. At 12:00 in Galeria Bronowice, ethnologist and folk band vocalist Anna Sitko and thematic characters will take care of the good mood and singing before the Carol Parade. Those interested will be able to join our joyful celebration in the shopping arcade.
The next point of the event will be a gathering at 15:00 at Rydlówka, from where the Carol Parade will set off towards the Main Square. The procession will include: Kasia Chodoń Band, actors from the Złoty Róg Theatre, volunteers from the Krakow Museum, as well as the monstrosities - turoń, koza, mare and a multitude of carol singers. It will not only be an opportunity to celebrate, but also to learn about cultural heritage and national folklore.
Event schedule:
11:00 - 12:00 || Family workshops at Galeria Bronowice, during which we will prepare mini carol stars.
12:00 - 13:00 || Joint carol singing in the passage of Galeria Bronowice with Anna Sitko and carol characters.
15:00 || The procession sets off from Rydlówka together with the Złoty Róg Theater and guests.
15:30 || Participants board a special tram at the Bronowice Małe terminus.
around 16:00 || The tram reaches the Teatr Bagatela stop, and then the procession heads through Szczepański Square to the Main Square.
16:15 || The procession reaches the courtyard of the Krzysztofory Palace, where a joint singing and dancing takes place in the palace courtyard, performed by the Złoty Róg Theatre and the guests.
The event ends after 17:00.
