"Mosznowładcy" at Galeria Bronowice - free preventive examinations for men

Date of event: 12.11.2022 - 12.11.2022

On November 12, Galeria Bronowice will once again become a point of free preventive examinations for men of all ages. The pro-health campaign "Mosznowładcy", previously known as Movember, will encourage you to take care of your health for the ninth time. Men under the age of 40 will be able to check the health of their testicles in the shopping centre thanks to a painless ultrasound examination, and slightly older ones will verify the level of the prostate cancer marker (PSA).

Two examination points will be created in Galeria Bronowice, which will allow more men to be examined and avoid queues. Examination points will be open from 10.00 a.m. till 8.00 p.m. Both the ultrasound and PSA tests don’t require any prior preparation, and their duration is only a few minutes. Advance registration is not required.

Galeria Bronowice is the only location in Krakow where - as part of the "Mosznowładcy" campaign - gentlemen can perform free preventive examinations and check their health. The action will take place on November 12 in the area under the round LED display on the ground floor of the shopping centre.

This year's edition of "Mosznowładcy" took a new form. The changed name is accompanied by a greater number of examination rooms and a longer time campaign’s duration. The campaign began as early as October, visiting new locations and adding double examination points.

- In November, as part of the "Mosznowładcy" campaign, for the ninth time we encourage you to regular preventive examinations. So far, as part of several editions of the campaign, we have managed to test nearly 18,000 men for free. Through such activities, we want to show that you don’t have to be afraid of preventive examinations - says Marta Pokutycka-Mądala, press spokesman for Nationale-Nederlanden

The campaign aims to raise awareness of both men and women in the prevention and early detection of testicular and prostate cancer, as well as providing access to free screening tests. It is worth remembering that early diagnosed diseases give a chance for a complete recovery.
