The accident happens suddenly and we often don’t know how to behave in a life-threatening situation. In order not to be surprised, every opportunity to learn to save another person’s life is worth its weight in gold. This time, on Saturday, February 26, firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department Morawica are going to visit Galeria Bronowice to teach us how to provide first aid. There will also be additional activities for the youngest.
In the event of a life threatening situation, the most important are the first minutes before the arrival of the ambulance. It’s never too late to learn first aid, and this Saturday in Galeria Bronowice will be a great opportunity! Experienced firefighters from OSP Morawica will thoroughly explain and demonstrate how to properly behave in the event of loss of consciousness, sudden cardiac arrest, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation or how to react in the event of choking.
The first aid demonstration will take place using child and adult phantoms. There will also be instructions on how to use an external defibrillator, the so-called The AED that is used during cardiac arrest. The guests from the fire brigade haven’t forgotten about the youngest - there will be coloring books waiting for them, which will not only make their time more enjoyable, but also introduce the work of firefighters. Firemen will be waiting for everyone in the Super Hero Zone on the ground floor of Galeria Bronowice on Saturday, February 26 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The first aid workshop at Galeria Bronowice will be held on Saturday, February 26, at level 0 in the Super Hero Zone, from 11 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The event is free of charge.
