Date of event: 04.10.2021
For over two months, Galeria Bronowice has been hosting the first Lesser Poland general vaccination point against Covid-19, located in a shopping center. So far, almost 12 thousand people have used its offer. According to the latest recommendations, from September 24 at this point, you can also receive a booster dose of the third dose of the vaccine. Customers can get vaccinated while shopping without prior registration.
A third, booster dose of the vaccine can be given to people over 50 years of age and to health professionals, including dentists and pharmacists. To take it, a minimum of six months must pass from the full vaccination course, ie from the date of the second dose (or single dose in the case of Johnson&Johnson).
- Vaccinations with a booster dose against Covid-19 are always carried out with a Pfizer preparation, no matter what type of vaccine the person received before - emphasizes Agata Junger-Kłosowska from the UNIMED Krakow Medical Center, the organizer of the point at Galeria Bronowice.
Parallel to the administration of a booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, the point in Galeria Bronowice is carrying out its previous task. Doctors who qualify for vaccinations available on site, have excellent contact with the youngest on a daily basis. Children are given a two-dose preparation from Pfizer.
