For the bees – action of the Greenpeace Foundation

Date of event: 07.01.2019

From January 7th, the Greenpeace Polska invites you to familiarize yourself with the methods of protection of the constantly decreasing population of bees and wild pollinators. Thanks to animations, VR technology, workshops and quizzes, Galeria Bronowice visitors will be able to learn how to save insects. The action will last until January 19th.

Bees are producers of up to three-quarters of the food we consume. We owe them not only honey, but also vegetables, fruits, herbal spices and almonds. Their disappearance would, among others, impoverish our diet and increase its costs. In order to counteract the further massive disappearance of these insects, the Greenpeace Foundation will present solutions and methods to protect the bees and wild pollinators.

As part of the project, you will be able to see in VR technology how bees function and learn how to create a small hotel for insects. That's not all, however. For the ones interested in the project, images of bees in 3D will be waiting, at which souvenir photos will be taken. The youngest protectors of bees will have the opportunity to take part in educational quizzes and win attractive prizes.
The Greenpeace stand will be located on level 0, on the event square under the so-called ring. You can visit them from 7th until 19th January, from 10.00 a.m.-7.00 p.m.

You are cordially invited!
